JAKARTA. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) selection committee announced on Wednesday that it had short listed 38 candidates from 87 for the institution’s seven commissioner posts. In a press release, the committee said that it had screened candidates based on profile assessment conducted by an independent consultant to elaborate on their competencies and personality. Among the eligible candidates announced were University of Gadjah Mada economist and former Finance Ministry director-general Anggito Abimanyu, former Corruption Eradication Commission member Chandra M. Hamzah, lawmaker Kemal Azis Stamboel, Capital Market and Financial Institutions Supervisory Agency (Bapepam-LK) head Nurhaida and central bank deputy governor Muliaman Hadad.
