Agung Podomoro Land Focuses on Continuing the Development of Existing Projects



KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) is preparing a number of business strategies this year. Management stated that for 2024, APLN will focus on continuing development in existing projects. 

APLN's Corporate Marketing Director Agung Wirajaya mentioned, considering the political conditions and economic dynamics of Indonesia this year, APLN is optimistic about the sustainability of existing projects currently being developed by Agung Podomoro such as Kota Podomoro Tenjo, Bukit Podomoro Jakarta, Podomoro Park Bandung, Parkland Podomoro Karawang, and others. 

“All of our business units are preparing Millenial’s Home, a residence for productive millennials that presents a more modern, elegant and sophisticated lifestyle,” Agung revealed, to Kontan.co.id, Tuesday (20/2).

Meanwhile, in the development process, APLN focuses on increasing consumer housing needs and expanding consumer segments, especially for millennials who have a large market potential to be absorbed by the company. 

“We have started by offering residences starting from a price of IDR 800 million at Podomoro Park Bandung and the launch of various new clusters in other existing projects,” he explained. 

Unfortunately, APLN has not been able to disclose its business targets for this year. However, referring to KONTAN's records, in 2023, APLN targeted marketing sales of IDR 1.5 trillion. 

From the financial performance side, as of September 2023, Agung Podomoro was able to record sales and operating income of IDR 3.92 trillion with comprehensive profit of IDR 1.35 trillion.
