JAKARTA. Malaysia-based budget airline AirAsia Indonesia announced on Monday it would provide extra flights serving various domestic and international routes during this year’s Idul Fitri holiday period from July 9 to 28. “The extra flights are aimed at accommodating increases in demands for flights for the Idul Fitri holiday season,” AirAsia Indonesia’s marketing director Andy Adrian Febryanto said. He said as many as 90 extra flights, or 16,200 seats, would be provided for several routes. These included Jakarta-Bali, Bandung-Bali, Surakarta-Bali, Bandung-Pekanbaru, Jakarta-Yogyakarta and Medan-Penang and vice versa.
