LOMBOK. Low-cost carrier AirAsia Indonesia launched its new route, Kuala lumpur–Lombok, on Friday. The company has scheduled three flights in a week; on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Malaysia AirAsia CEO Aireen Omar said that around 9,000 tickets for the Kuala Lumpur-Lombok route had been booked since the company opened up ticket sales two months ago. Tourists from Korea, China, Japan and Thailand also showed their interest in using the route, Aireen added.
