Alfa Group expanding to property sector



JAKARTA. One of business lines of Alfa Group, namely PT Perkasa Internusa Mandiri or Alfa Land plans to work on some property businesses in this year.

According to Managing Director of Alfa Land Kurnia Sukrisna, the company will develop integrated property area under the label of Alfaland Karawang in an area of 28 ha in East Karawang. “We have prepared as much as Rp 100 billion capital expenditure for the project in this year,” Kurnia said.

At the early stage, Alfa Land will work on housing, as well as commercial and shopping center projects on the area of six to seven ha. According to Kurnia, Alfa Land is still waiting for the issuance of infrastructure exploration license of the project.


On the second stage of the project, Alfa Land would complete the integrated area with hotel, hospital, and apartment.

However, Kurnia refused to reveal the total investment value of the project. Alfa Land will also explore cooperation with investors from Hong Kong and China to work on Alfaland Karawang project.

Without specifying the business target, Kurnia is optimistic that Alfaland Karawang project would gain positive market response, since the property developments would be more focusing to the eastern part of Bekasi. The construction project of Patimban port, Subang would be positive point of Alfaland Karawang project. ”The plan of Subang airport construction project also has not been cancelled yet,” he said.

Alfa Land will also accomplish the project of 30-floor office building Alfa Tower in Alam Sutera in the middle of this year. This is a cooperation project between Alfa Land with Kingland Group and Growth Steel Group.

Alfa Land is also planning to expand the land reserves in Subang from 70 ha to 100 ha for industrial purposes. (Muhammad Farid/Translator)
