Indonesia’s major copper and gold miner PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMMAN) has been recognized by SAP for using cloud technology to integrate business functions and accelerate data-driven decision-making, as the company expands its digital transformation across increasingly complex operations.

In a press release dated Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, AMMAN said it received recognition at the SAP Customer Excellence Awards for Southeast Asia 2026 in the Autonomous Suite and Data & AI category.

The award recognizes AMMAN’s efforts to develop more automated and interconnected digital processes and use data analytics to support business decisions, the company said.

“Digitalization is an integral part of AMMAN’s business strategy,” Kartika Octaviana, AMMAN’s vice president of corporate communications, said in the release.

AMMAN has built its digital foundation progressively since 2020, integrating functions including finance, procurement, human resources, data management and analytics into a more centralized operating ecosystem.

The digital integration is aimed at improving transparency, governance and the speed of decision-making as AMMAN manages a growing portfolio that includes mining operations, smelters, power plants and regasification facilities.

The company has also used the digital infrastructure to develop customer-facing innovations, including its Automated Teller Gold Machine (ATGM), which enables faster and more secure gold purchasing and redemption with real-time documentation, from inventory validation to electronic transaction records.

The SAP recognition underscores the growing role of automation, cloud technology and data analytics in AMMAN’s efforts to streamline operations and support future business expansion.
