KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) has decided to distribute dividends to its shareholders for its performance in 2023. This decision was made during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) in Jakarta, on Tuesday (30/4).

One of the AGM's agenda items was the use of the company's consolidated net profit for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, which amounted to IDR 33.83 trillion.

At the AGM, it was agreed that a profit of IDR 21.01 trillion, or IDR 519 per share, would be distributed as cash dividends, including an interim dividend of IDR 98 per share worth IDR 3.96 trillion, which was paid on October 31, 2023.

Meanwhile, the remaining IDR 17.04 trillion, or IDR 421 per share, will be distributed on May 30, 2024, to ASII shareholders registered as ASII shareholders as of May 15, 2024, at 4:00 PM WIB.

Concerning the dividend distribution, the AGM authorized the Company's Board of Directors to carry out the dividend distribution and perform all necessary actions for it.

"The remaining IDR 12.82 trillion is booked as the company's retained earnings," as quoted from Astra's press release, Tuesday (30/4).

ASII recorded a 5% annual revenue growth in 2023 to IDR 316.6 trillion. Meanwhile, ASII's net profit experienced a significant surge of 16.9% annually to IDR 33.84 trillion.

At the AGM, ASII also accepted the resignation of Johannes Loma as Director and appointed Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro as an independent commissioner of the company.

And appointed Hsu Hai Yeh as a commissioner. Then Rudy and Thomas Junaidi Alim W as directors. Here is the latest composition of the company's board of commissioners and directors:
