JAKARTA. Banking conglomerations are more interested in toll road credit. Recently, 14 banking conglomerations have agreed to form a conglomeration to fund Pejagan-Pemalang toll road project in Central Java. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) becomes the lead arranger of the credit project, which amounts to Rp 4.73 trillion. As the syndication leader, BNI will disburse Rp 1 trillion funds. Some financial conglomerations involve in funding the toll road project, including Bank Panin, Bank Artha Graha, ICBC, as well as the local banks, such as Bank Sumut (North Sumatra), Bank Jateng (Bank of Central Java), Bank Sulselbar (Bank of South and West Sulawesi), Bank Nagari, Bank Kalteng (Bank of Central Kalimantan), Bank DIY (Bank of Yogyakarta), Bank Maluku Malut (Bank of Maluku and North Maluku), and Bank Jambi (Bank of Jambi).
