JAKARTA. Bank Indonesia (BI) said it will promote the electronic system of payment or e-money transactions in 2015. “In 2014, there was already a rising trend of e-money transactions, but the use of paper money is still dominant. Therefore, more aggressive education is needed this year,” the head of the West Java branch of BI, Rosmaya Hadi, said on Tuesday as quoted by Antara news agency. Non-cash transactions are gradually increasing in West Java, Rosmaya said.
