HONG KONG. Following State-Owned Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan\'s challenge to increase E-toll card sales by 20 percent by this June, Bank Mandiri CEO Zulkifli Zaini said he was ready to meet it. "I am sure that I could meet the challenge. We are now mulling new strategies that will enable us to boost the sales," Zulkifli told journalists on Friday. He said Bank Mandiri had been in the middle of discussions with other banks to participate in the E-Toll card program.
"We will allow every Mandiri E-Toll card owner to top up their credits by using other banks’ debit cards as long as those banks are members of the ATM Bersama connection," he said. Other strategies were to boost promotions and put additional discount on E-Toll card price.
