KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Publicly listed fuel trader PT AKR Corporindo and British oil and gas company BP have already opened four fuel stations in Indonesia under a joint venture established by the companies. By 2028, they hope to raise the number of stations to 350. The joint venture, operating under the name BP-AKR Fuels Retail or PT Aneka Petroindo Raya, opened its first fuel station in South Tangerang, Banten, in November 2018. The other three stations are located on the outskirts of Jakarta in Jababeka, Bekasi; Bintaro, South Jakarta; and Cibubur, East Jakarta. Another station will be opened in Surabaya.
