BBRI) is set to distribute dividends worth IDR 48.1 trillion from the total profit obtained in 2023. The decision was made in the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on March 1, 2023. The amount of dividends distributed is equivalent to 79.63% of the total 2023 profit of IDR 60.4 trillion. This includes the interim dividend that has been distributed earlier this year. Previously, the bank, which focuses on small-scale loans, had distributed an interim dividend at the end of 2023 worth IDR 12.7 trillion. At that time, shareholders received dividends equivalent to IDR 84 per share.
This means there are still dividends worth IDR 35.43 trillion to be distributed by BRI. Shareholders will receive dividends worth IDR 235 per share.

Historically, this state-owned bank has been quite consistent in distributing dividends and their amounts. In the last two years, the dividend ratio distributed reached 85%.
Previously, Bank Rakyat Indonesia set a performance record throughout 2023. In a one-year period, this state-owned bank recorded a consolidated net profit of IDR 60.4 trillion. This profit record is the highest ever recorded by BRI in history. The highest profit previously was recorded in the previous year which reached IDR 51.4 trillion. Based on the financial report published (31/1), the profit of this bank, which focuses on small-scale loans, was supported by an increase in net interest income recorded at IDR 135.18 trillion. The previous year, BRI's net interest income was only IDR 124.59 trillion.
Not only that, BRI's non-interest income also increased by about 12.61% annually to IDR 53.29 trillion. The largest contribution came from the commission and administration posts which reached IDR 20.74 trillion.
