Delimajaya Group Aims for a 20% Increase in Sales in 2024

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The bodywork manufacturer, Delimajaya Group, is confident that it can achieve positive performance throughout 2024. The company is optimistic about achieving sales growth of 15%-20% this year.

Delimajaya Group's Managing Director, Winston Wiyanta, sees that the company's business prospects in 2024 are very positive. This is evident from the increasing demand trend of about 25% since January 2024. According to him, this positive growth trend is due to three factors.

"First, the trust of customers who is very satisfied with the results of our products, leading to repeat orders. Second, the mining sector is still strong and there are many orders for support vehicles. Third, government projects that will run this year," Winston told Kontan on Friday (16/2).

Winston stated that Delimajaya has several strategies to boost sales performance this year, among others, improving product quality and offering competitive prices.

"We continue to improve product quality, on-time delivery, and after-sales support. Our philosophy is the best value for the business, meaning we provide the best value or value for customers. This is our commitment to maintain customer satisfaction, and make it a business priority," he said.

However, Winston explained, the company's performance this year will also face several challenges. Starting from the increase in raw material prices and new regulations for Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certification of about 60% depending on the type of bodywork.

"The increase in raw material prices and labor will affect the selling price. Then, new regulations for standard certificates and TKDN certificates, so it takes longer preparation time," he said.

Furthermore, Winston explained that in the electric bus segment, the company is still in the development stage with several electric bus brands for assembly plans, CKD (complete knockdown) or SKD (semi knockdown).
