JAKARTA. In a bid to boost city performance and accelerate budget absorption, Jakarta Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat is set to inaugurate 226 middle-to high-ranking civil servants at City Hall on Thursday. Eighteen high-ranking civil servants, including agency heads, mayors and city secretary assistants will be transferred to different posts. Included in that list are Jakarta Social Affairs and Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD Jakarta) head Husein Murad, who will serve as North Jakarta mayor, and South Jakarta Deputy Mayor Irmansyah, who will serve as the Thousands Islands regent.
