JAKARTA. Dubai-based airline Emirates is offering special fares for Indonesians traveling for adventure, pleasure, education or business across the globe, following its opening of new routes to favorite destinations in Europe and the Americas.

“With our 20th year of operations in Indonesia, we would like to continue to give Indonesians the best premium flying experience to ensure their utmost comfort” Emirates country manager for Indonesia Mohammed Al Nahari said on Friday in a statement.

The special fares apply to more than 120 destinations across the Emirates network when booked between Dec. 26, and Jan. 10, 2013, for travel from Jan. 18 to June 10, 2013.

In an effort to meet the high demand for Europe and the Americas, Emirates opened new routes in 2012 to numerous destinations, including Washington D.C., Seattle, Dallas Fort Worth, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Dublin, Barcelona, Lisbon and Lyon.

In addition to the aforementioned destinations, the airline has opened new routes to Lusaka, Harare, Ho Chi Minh City, Erbil, Adelaide and Phuket.

Emirates also offer economy-class passengers a luggage allowance of 30 kilograms.
