JAKARTA - The Ministry of Investment announced that foreign direct investment (FDI) into Indonesia increased by 16.6% year on year in the second quarter of 2024, reaching 217.3 trillion rupiah (US$ 13.35 billion). The Ministry of Investment stated on Monday (29/7) that this investment growth was slightly faster than the annual FDI growth of 15.5% in the first three months of 2024. The data on realized foreign investment does not include investments in the financial sector and oil and gas.
