IDX Composite fell 0.32% to 6,474.02 on Friday (5/4)

JAKARTA. The IDX Composite at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) fell 20.61 points or 0.32% to 6,474.02 on Friday (5/4). A total of 177 shares rose, 223 shares fell, and 131 shares remained unchanged.

Sectoral stock indexes rose, among others, the miscellaneous industry sector stock index rose 0.30%, the construction sector stock index rose 0.29%, and the basic industry sector stock index rose 0.05%.


Meanwhile, sectoral stock indexes were the weakest; The mining sector stock index fell 1.02%, the consumer goods sector stock index fell 0.69%, and the manufacturing sector stock index fell 0.34%.

The total stock trading in the Indonesian stock exchange reached 15.41 billion shares with a total value of Rp. 8.10 trillion.

Foreign investors posted a net buy of Rp 308.62 billion in all markets.

Shares with the most significant foreign net buy; PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) Rp 329.5 billion, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) Rp 44.1 billion and PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) Rp 35.2 billion.

While stocks with the most significant foreign net sell; PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) Rp 53.2 billion, PT Japfa Comfeed IndonesiaTbk (JPFA) Rp 30.4 billion and PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) Rp 26.3 billion.
