IDX Composite (IHSG) Closed Down 0.08% to 7,331 on Wednesday (20/3)



KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) fell in the middle of this week. On Wednesday (20/3), the IHSG weakened by 0.08% or 5.62 points to 7,331.13 until the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Five sectoral indices dragged the IHSG into the red zone. The technology sector plummeted 3.14%. The financial sector fell 0.35%. The transportation and logistics sector fell 0.23%. The property and real estate sector weakened 0.22%. The energy sector fell slightly by 0.03%.

Six sectors strengthened as the IHSG fell. The health sector soared 2.05%. The non-primary consumer goods sector jumped 1.02%. The primary consumer goods sector strengthened 0.38%. The raw materials sector rose 0.30%. The industrial sector climbed 0.09%. The infrastructure sector strengthened 0.08%.

Today's LQ45 top gainers are:

  • PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) 10.06%
  • PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) 4.59%
  • PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) 4.13%
The LQ45 top losers consist of:

  • PT Mitra Pack Tbk (PTMP) -20.86%
  • PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) -9.72%
  • PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) -4.23%
The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 19.65 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 10.34 trillion. As many as 296 stocks weakened. There are 213 stocks that strengthened and 261 stocks were flat.

The IHSG recorded a weakening of 1.21% in a week. Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, the IHSG has strengthened by 0.80%
