IDX Composite (IHSG) Rises 0.44% to 7,236 on Tuesday (2/4)



KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) which has been continuously moving in the red zone since morning, finally closed stronger this afternoon. On Tuesday (2/4), the IHSG strengthened by 0.44% or 31.92 points to 7,236.98 by the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Ten sectoral indices supported the rise of the IHSG today. Only the financial sector was recorded to have fallen by 0.18%. Meanwhile, the biggest strengthening was the raw materials sector which surged by 1.60%. The energy sector soared by 1.59%. The transportation and logistics sector advanced by 1.45%. The health sector flew by 1.22%.

The industrial sector climbed by 0.96%. The non-primary consumer goods sector strengthened by 0.72%. The infrastructure sector rose by 0.67%. The primary consumer goods sector increased by 0.64%. The technology sector strengthened by 0.49%. The property and real estate sector rose by 0.38%.

Today's LQ45 top gainers are:

  • PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk (ESSA) 9.09%
  • PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) 5.49%
  • PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) 5.26%
The LQ45 top losers consist of:

  • PT Mitra Pack Tbk (PTMP) -6.08%
  • PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) -4.22%
  • PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) -3.10%
The total volume of exchange transactions reached 16.11 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 12.58 trillion. As many as 300 shares weakened. There were 284 shares that strengthened and 201 shares remained flat.

The IHSG is still recorded to have fallen by 1.91% in the last five trading days. Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, the IHSG has fallen by 0.49%.
