KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (
IHSG) managed to maintain its strengthening until the end of the first trading session today. As of 11:30 AM on Friday (5/4), the IHSG rose by 29.04 points or 0.4% to 7,283.44. The IHSG's strengthening was supported by several sectoral indices. The IDX Infrastructure Sector emerged as the sector with the largest increase, surging 1.49% at the end of the first session. Following this, the IDX Health Sector rose by 0.84%, the IDX Energy Sector increased by 0.79%, and the IDX Basic Goods Sector strengthened by 0.11%.
Meanwhile, the IDX Technology Sector was the sector with the deepest decline, plummeting 1.21%. Subsequently, the IDX Property and Real Estate Sector weakened by 0.58%, the IDX Financial Sector fell by 0.55%, and the IDX Transportation and Logistics Sector declined by 0.25%.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 11.43 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 7.78 trillion. As many as 240 stocks rose. There were 316 stocks that fell in price and 211 remained flat. The top gainers of LQ45 this afternoon consisted of:
- PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk. (SIDO) rose by 6.06%
- PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) rose by 5.15%
- PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) rose by 1.45%

- PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk (ESSA) fell by 3.42%
- PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) fell by 2.9%
- PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) fell by 2.54%
