IDX Composite Index Rises 0.07% to 7,426 in Thursday's (14/3) First Session



KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) closed up 5.46 points or 0.07% to 7,426.67 at the end of the first trading session today, Thursday (14/3).

As many as 271 stocks rose, 243 stocks fell and 238 stocks were stagnant.

Seven sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the rise of the IHSG. Meanwhile, four other sectoral indices entered the red zone.


The sectoral index with the largest increase was the energy sector, which rose 1.83%, the technology sector rose 0.91% and the industrial sector rose 0.80%.

Meanwhile, the sectoral index with the deepest decline was the financial sector, which fell 0.61%, the non-primary consumer goods sector, which fell 0.22% and the transportation sector, which fell 0.13%.

The total volume of stock trading on the exchange until the first session today reached 8.73 billion shares with a total value of IDR 5.94 trillion.

1. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) (-4.69%) 2. PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) (-2.46%) 3. PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) (-1.61%)
