IDX Composite Index Strengthens 0.11% to 7,381 on Friday (8/3)



KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) closed up 7.94 points or 0.11% to 7,381.90 at the end of trading on Friday (8/3).

As many as 244 stocks rose, 273 stocks fell and 252 stocks were stagnant.

Five sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the rise of the IHSG. Meanwhile, six other sectoral indices entered the red zone.


The sectoral index with the largest increase was the financial sector, which rose 0.62%, the primary consumer goods sector, which rose 0.28%, and the transportation sector, which rose 0.14%.

Meanwhile, the sectoral index with the deepest weakening was the health sector, which fell 0.65%, the raw materials sector fell 0.58% and the non-primary consumer goods sector fell 0.56%.

The total trading volume of shares on the exchange today reached 14.02 billion shares with a total value of Rp 13.43 trillion.
