Indonesia sees rice production in June and July dropping on an annual basis, the head of its food agency said on Monday, due to delays in the crop cycle as a result of less rain last year. June rice production is expected at 2.01 million metric tons and July production at 2.15 million tons, according to data presented to parliament by agency head Arief Prasetyo. That compared to 2.79 million tons and 2.48 million tons respectively in those months last year.
