Referring to data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), the export of completely built-up (CBU) cars was recorded at 468,595 units from January to November 2023. This figure grew by 10.62% year on year (yoy) compared to the same period last year, which was 423,606 units. The President Director of PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN), Nandi Julyanto, said that amidst the global economic conditions still shrouded in uncertainty, the export performance of the automotive industry is one of the strong pillars that can support Indonesia's trade balance.
