JAKARTA. A tribute to Teguh Karya, one of the country's most prominent film directors, is set to be the highlight of the 2015 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI). Born Steve Liem Tjoan Hok on Sept. 22, 1937, in Pandeglang, Banten, Teguh was widely known for his direction of acclaimed Indonesian films such as Badai Pasti Berlalu (The Storm will Pass), Pacar Ketinggalan Kereta (Sweetheart Missed the Train), Cinta Pertama (First Love) and November 1828. He passed away in 2001 from complications caused by a stroke. According to this year's FFI committee head Olga Lydia, there will be a special segment at the festival's main event to commemorate Teguh and his works.
