According to data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), national car wholesale sales (from factories to dealers) from January to March 2024 were recorded at 215,069 units. This figure represents a 23.9% year-on-year (YoY) decrease compared to the same period in the previous year, which saw 282,601 units sold. National car retail sales (from dealers to consumers) also fell 15% YoY to 230,776 units in January-March 2024, down from 271,423 units previously.
