JAKARTA. Indonesia's imports fell 4.62 percent in value to US$10.78 billion in April this year from US$11.3 billion in the previous month, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) said. "Year-on-year the export value shrank 14.62 percent," a deputy chief of BPS Sasmito Hadi Wibowo, said here on Monday. Sasmito said oil and gas imports were valued at US$1.36 billion in April down 12.32 percent from US$1.55 billion in March. Year-on-year the imports shrank 41.74 percent from US$2.34 billion, he added.
