The Jakarta administration may terminate its cooperation agreement with PT Godang Tua and PT Navigat Organic Energy Indonesia ( NOEI ) for managing the Bantar Gebang Integrated Waste Treatment Area in Bekasi by the end of this month after PricewaterhouseCoopers ( PwC ) issues its report on the deal. The city administration is now awaiting the audit results from PwC, which was hired to look into the cooperation agreement between the administration and Godang Tua and between the administration and NOEI before officially ending the cooperation. “In late May, we hope that we have obtained the audit results from PWC. If the audit results recommend us to break off the cooperation, the governor will make a decision and the sanitation agency will take over waste management,” Isnawa Adji, Head of Jakarta Cleanliness Agency told thejakartapost.com on Thursday.
