President Joko Widodo, commonly known as Jokowi, is prepared to support the governmental transition process of the newly elected President Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Ari Dwipayanan, the Coordinator of the President's Special Staff, stated that President Jokowi is ready to incorporate the programs of Prabowo-Gibran into the Government Work Plan (RKP) and the Draft State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBN) for 2025. "This includes those that can be immediately executed after October 20, 2024, following the inauguration of the elected President and Vice President," Ari explained to Kontan.co.id on Friday (26/4).
However, Ari did not directly confirm whether Jokowi would form a special team to assist Prabowo-Gibran during the transition period. Nevertheless, he assured that Jokowi would oversee the continuity of the development that he had initiated during his two terms in office. "The spirit is to oversee the continuity of development to realize the Advanced Indonesia that has been laid by President Jokowi," he said. However, he said that these preparations are largely carried out by the current president's assistants such as Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, State Secretary Minister Pratikno, and PPN Minister/Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa who still have authority in the RKP and RAPBN 2025.
