JAKARTA. Governor Joko “Jokowi” Widodo visited Marunda low-cost apartments in North Jakarta on Monday to inspect the city’s proposed location for a greenhouse. The Jakarta Administrative Buildings and Housing Agency is planning to build a greenhouse on a 640-square meter plot of land in the apartment compound to provide a place for residents to grow vegetables. The city also aims to boost the residents’ income through the initiative. “They can farm various vegetables like eggplant and chili, and sell them to boost income,” Jokowi said.
