Head of Jakarta Development Planning Board Tuty Kusumawati said on Monday that Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung had requested the Jakarta administration to hand over materials related to the reclamation project in Jakarta Bay to be discussed in a Cabinet meeting. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo will chair a limited Cabinet meeting to decide the fate of the project, particularly whether the government will allow the project to continue, said Tuty at City Hall. “We still don’t know when the government will hold the limited Cabinet meeting to decide the fate of the reclamation project. In late July we submitted the materials related to the reclamation project,” Tuty said.
