Budi Gunawan and will look for another hopeful who triggers less public outcry. Deputy chairman of House Commission III overseeing law, Desmond J. Mahesa, said on Friday that he had received word that the President had called House Speaker Setyo Novanto to inform him of the decision not to inaugurate Budi Gunawan as new police chief. "Jokowi called Pak Novanto on Wednesday evening to tell him he would not inaugurate Budi Gunawan and would submit a new police chief hopeful,” he said.
