JAKARTA. The Jakarta administration has given the management of Kalibata City apartments in Rawajati, South Jakarta until October to repair its seven broken wastewater treatment facilities. “If the management fails to meet the deadline, we will urge the Jakarta Urban Planning Agency head to revoke the operational license of the apartment complex,” head of the Jakarta Environment Management Board (BPLHD) Junaedi told The Jakarta Post on Thursday. Last week, the BPLHD warned the apartment’s management after learning that it had dumped untreated wastewater in local waterways because its wastewater treatment facilities were broken.
