King Salman to meet with interfaith leaders

JAKARTA. On the last day of his three-day state visit to Jakarta, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is scheduled to meet with interfaith leaders. The meeting will take place at Raffles Hotel, where the king and his entourage are staying.

Like King Salman’s previous meeting with Islamic leaders at the State Palace on Thursday, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo will accompany the king in his dialogue with interfaith leaders today.

Pak Jokowi is the host of the meeting,” Religious Affairs Minister Lukman Hakim Saifuddin said as quoted by kompas.com at the State Palace in Jakarta on Thursday.

Based on President Jokowi’s official schedule, King Salman’s meeting with interfaith leaders will take place at 2:15 p.m. Before the meeting, King Salman is scheduled to serve afternoon tea to Jokowi.

King Salman is also scheduled to go shopping on Friday. Which shopping malls King Salman will visit remains unknown. The police have been notified of the king’s intention to go shopping.

In the evening, King Salman will dine with Vice President Jusuf Kalla. On Saturday, the king will depart for Bali for a holiday until March 9.
