KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The results of the Kompas R & D survey show that seven political parties participating in the election risked failing to pass the 4% parliamentary threshold.

Hanura Party, political parties that now have seats in the DPR, may fail to walk to Senayan. This party only gained 0.9% of the votes of the respondents far below the acquisition in the 2014 2014 elections which reached 5.3% of the vote.   Six other political parties may also won't reach the parliamentary threshold.

The other two old parties were the Crescent Star Party (PBB) and the Indonesian Justice and Unity Party (PKPI). Each of them only gets 0.4% and 0.2% of the votes. Oh, yes, these two parties also failed to pass the parliamentary threshold in the 2014 election.

Four newcomers political parties also defeated against the dominance of old political parties. The Perindo Party becomes only 1.5% of the vote, the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) 0.9% of the vote, the 0.5% Working Party, and the Garuda Party 0.2%.

"Although considering the sampling error rate of +/- 2.2%, these political parties still find it difficult to meet the minimum parliamentary threshold," Kompas R & D researcher Yohan Wahyu was quoted as saying by the Kompas Daily, Thursday (21/3).

In addition to the seven political parties above, three other political parties may also fail to pass the 6% parliamentary threshold. They are PAN (2.9%), PPP (2.7%), and Nasdem (2.6%). However, given the survey's +/- margin of error (2.2%), the three political parties still have the chance to qualify for Senayan.

Six other political parties will seamlessly send envoys to work in the parliament building. They are PDI-P (26.9%), Gerindra (17.0%), Golkar (9.4%), PKB (6.8%), Democrats (4.6%), and PKS (4.5 %).

The Kompas R & D conducted this survey by interviewing 2,000 respondents. Respondents were chosen randomly and systematically sampling in 34 provinces in Indonesia, with a confidence level of 95%, and a margin of error of +/- 2.2%. (Ihsanuddin)
