KPK seizes four more of Djoko’s homes

JAKARTA. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has seized four more houses belonging to former National Traffic Police Corps (Korlantas) head Insp. Gen. Djoko Susilo in Jakarta and Depok, West Java.

KPK spokesman Johan Budi said the houses were located on Jl. Prapanca Raya No. 6, South Jakarta; Jl. Citajang, South Jakarta; Jl. Elang Mas in Tanjung Mas, South Jakarta; and in Pesona Khayangan, Depok. Some of the houses are located in the city’s prime locations.

“The houses may still be occupied but they cannot, however, be sold,” he told a press conference at the KPK’s headquarters in Kuningan, South Jakarta.

Earlier, the KPK had confiscated six of Djoko’s houses in Surakarta, Semarang and Surabaya.

The six houses are located on Jl. Sam Ratulangi, Banjarsari subdistrict, and on Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan, Sondakan subdistrict, both in Surakarta; Jl. Langenastran Kidul No. 7 and on Jl. Patehan Lor No. 34 and 36 in Yogyakarta; and on Jl. Bukit Golf, Jangli subdistrict, Tembalang district, Semarang. The KPK is yet to determine the value of the houses.

The commission has charged Djoko with violating articles 2 and 3 of the Corruption Law for his alleged abuse of authority to enrich himself in the graft case centering on the procurement of 700 two-wheeled and 556 four-wheeled driving simulators in 2011.

Later, the KPK also charged him under Article 3 and Article 4 of the 2010 Money Laundering Law. (The Jakarta Post)
