E-commerce giant Lazada has stated that it is still investigating an alleged case of online shopping fraud following widespread reports that one of its Jakarta-based consumers received a bar of soap instead of an iPhone he had ordered from the store. “The investigation is still underway, and we have discovered further findings,” Lazada Indonesia public relations manager Tania Amalia told The Jakarta Post on Wednesday. She refused to reveal the findings, however, saying that Lazada would rather communicate them directly to the consumer, who had been in regular contact with the company via email.
