JAKARTA. The Lion Air Group is set to offer a new service between Jakarta and Chennai, India, on July 10 to attract more Indian tourists to the archipelago. The upcoming flights will operate once a day and transit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. During a recent event in Paris, France, Lion Air president director Edward Sirait told Antara news agency that, “The number of Indian tourists who travel to Indonesia has grown rapidly and this is what we want to focus on using our airlines.”
