Meikarta's administrative permit had no problems: Ridwan Kamil



KONTAN.CO.ID - BANDUNG. West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil said the provincial government had issued a recommendation to the Bekasi district for the Meikarta project. He asserted, from the administrative side Meikarta's permission did not have any problem.

However, Ridwan Kamil said he would review the Melakarta property project. "After that, we will officially give a view of Meikarta," he said, as quoted from Ridwan Kamil's official Instagram account, Tuesday (10/23).

According to Ridwan Kamil, developments related to this issue are also unclear. "The case is unclear until now, is there an abuse of spatial or licensing procedures, or something else?" he said.


Meikarta plans to build 250,000 units of main residential property and 1,500,000 square meters of commercial space. The location of this project is in the corridor that connects the capital city of Indonesia Jakarta to the city of Bandung, West Java.

The developer will establish 100 skyscrapers with a height of 35 floors to 46 floors. Total investment reaches Rp 278 trillion and draws 70,000 workers.

For your information, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating alleged bribery in the Melakarta development permit process in Cikarang, Bekasi. Even so, the workers are still actively continuing the construction of towers.
