KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) has begun a public offering period for bonds worth IDR 1.5 trillion. The Continuous Bond Offering IV of Merdeka Copper Gold Phase V for the year 2024 started today, Monday (19/2) until Tuesday (20/2). In the additional prospectus published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Monday (19/2), these bonds will be issued in two series. First, Series A bonds with a principal amount of IDR 750 billion. Series A bonds have a fixed interest rate of 7.25% per year, with a tenor of 367 calendar days from the date of issuance. Second, Series B bonds with a principal amount of IDR 750 billion with a fixed interest rate of 9.00% per year. These bonds have a tenor of 3 years from the date of issuance.
The funds from the bond issuance will be used to pay off bonds that are due soon. First, IDR 1.35 trillion will be used to fund part of the obligations in the repayment of all the principal of the Continuous Bond IV of Merdeka Copper Gold Phase II of the year 2023, which will mature on March 15, 2024.

Acting as the guarantor of the bond issuance and the bond issuance guarantor are PT Indo Premier Securities, PT Sucor Securities, PT UOB Kay Hian Securities, PT Aldiracita Securities Indonesia, and PT Trimegah Securities Indonesia Tbk (TRIM).
