PADANG. SN Power has indicated interest in exploring the hydro power potential in the district of Pasaman, West Sumatra. The Norway-based company plan to visit the district next month to see the possibility of investing in that area. "We have sent data about the potentials and the possibility of building a hydro power plant at the Batang Masang river in Pasaman. It was not a a complete feasibility study but the data are quite complete that SN Power decided to visit that area," head of the capital investment office of West Sumatra Miswar Dedi said on Monday (30/1).
