Recently, the online-based transportation providers, such as Gojek and Grab not only provide passengers transportation service, but also delivery service. President Director of PT Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) Muhammad Feriadi said that the online transportation overlapped the premium services provided by JNE. “We provide economy and premium services. The online transportation also offer sort of premium service”, he said. Fortunately, this does not bring serious impacts to JNE’s business, since online transportation mainly targets major urban area, while JNE business has penetrated to various regions in Indonesia. To date, JNE networks have reached 5,000 regions in Indonesia.
