JAKARTA. PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) is registered among the top 250 international contractor companies in the Engineering News Record (ENR) magazine of August 22, 2016 edition.

Engineering News Record is an American weekly magazine that provides news, analysis, data and opinion for the construction industry worldwide.

"PT Rekind is ranked 249 of global contractors and 229 in the list of international constructors," company's secretary Wilka Osca remarked in a written statement made available to Antara here on Saturday.

Each year, ENR administers a series of surveys to large professional service/construction firms and uses the results to create Top Lists that ranks companies by revenue.

In addition to these lists, ENR also publishes a number of Source-books that provide more detailed rankings for nearly 50 specific market categories.

Established in 1981 under Government Regulation No.17/1981, PT Rekind was first expected to carry out the transfer of technology in engineering and design of large-scale industrial plant construction.

The Company has human resources who understand the process engineering to build an industrial facility, the supply chain in the form of support for the manufacturing industry, fabricator, owner of the machine, local construction companies in the field of civil, piping and mechanical, as well as experts in the fields of commissioning, testing and start up of industrial facilities.

The company's role is no less important in improving the quality of life of the nation through its contribution to building a plant fertilizer, cement, petrochemical, power plants, gas pipelines both onshore and offshore.
