Rig Tenders Indonesia (RIGS) Targets Revenue of US$ 23.3 Million in 2024



KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The shipping and offshore operations issuer, PT Rig Tenders Indonesia Tbk (RIGS), projects a strong demand trend for ship and barge rental services, especially for coal and nickel transportation in 2024.

Corporate Secretary of PT Rig Tenders Indonesia, Diah Triani Puspitasari said that the business prospects of shipping services in the form of coal and nickel transportation are still good and in line with the set targets.

"With the current conditions, our target is the same as last year's achievement of US$ 23.3 million," Diah told KONTAN, Tuesday (13/2).

Diah explained this year's strategy is to renegotiate prices with existing customers and regularly identify operational cost positions that can be made more efficient and expand market share.

(RIGS) recorded a profit of IDR 39.89 billion in 2023, up 66.25% compared to IDR 23.99 billion in 2022. According to RIGS' financial report as of December 2023, RIGS' net income grew 4.46% to IDR 169.42 billion in 2023 from IDR 162.18 billion in 2022.

For information, Rig Tenders Indonesia is a company engaged in providing maritime logistics services for the oil and coal industry.

The company's business activities are classified into two categories, namely, coal and offshore. The coal segment provides tugboat and barge rental services to mining companies for the transportation of coal and other aggregates.

Meanwhile, the offshore segment serves the rental of supply ships and accommodation barges to upstream industry companies to support their offshore activities.
