AMRT, reported a significant increase in sales for the first quarter of 2024, reaching IDR 29.3 trillion. This figure marks a notable rise from the previous year's first-quarter sales of IDR 26.16 trillion. In its financial report released on Wednesday (1/5), the company, which operates the Alfamart chain of stores, also recorded a cost of goods sold amounting to IDR 22.9 trillion. This represents a 12% increase from the previous figure of IDR 20.4 trillion, resulting in a gross profit of IDR 6.38 trillion.

Consequently, the operating profit for the period from January to March 2024 was IDR 1.14 trillion. The company's other expenses included financial costs of approximately IDR 30.26 billion and a final tax expense of IDR 16.4 billion. As a result, AMRT reported a net profit for the year of IDR 921.5 billion in the first quarter of 2024. This figure represents a growth of 16.5% compared to the first quarter of 2023, which was IDR 791 billion.

Meanwhile, the recorded liabilities amounted to IDR 23.84 trillion, comprising long-term liabilities of IDR 1.31 trillion and short-term liabilities of IDR 22.5 trillion.
