JAKARTA. Telecommunications giant PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) officially launched on Wednesday its remittance service, Delima, for Indonesian migrant workers in Japan. The launch was marked by the signing of a partnership agreement between Finnet Indonesia, a Telkom subsidiary, with Japan’s Kyodai Remittance Unidos. Finnet president director Otong Iip said that with the partnership, Indonesian migrant workers living in Japan would be able to send their money home through Kyodai and the money could be withdrawn in any bank in Indonesia. “Delima offers an inexpensive and simple way to remit money,” he said.
