The electability declined in the Kompas R & D version, Jokowi was actually grateful

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Presidential candidate Joko Widodo is quite grateful for the publication of the Presidential Election electability survey by Kompas R & D. According to Jokowi, the release of the survey results could spur his political engine to work harder.

"Precisely if the survey results are good it can weaken us. If the survey results are not good, it encourages, triggers all elements, party volunteers and cadres to work more militantly," Jokowi said at the PDI DPD Office.

This survey showed Jokowi-Ma'ruf's electability was 49.2% and Prabowo-Sandiaga's electability of 37.4%. Jokowi-Ma'ruf's electability fell compared to the Kompas R & D survey in October 2018. On the contrary, Prabowo-Sandiaga's electability rose compared to the previous poll at the same time.

Jokowi did not specifically direct his statement to the results of the Kompas R & D survey, but rather to the results of studies from some survey institutions. His team pays attention to all survey results from some institutions and use for internal work evaluations.

"All the survey results we use for evaluation, for correction. To spur work better," Jokowi continued. (Fabian Januarius Kuwado)
