KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for 2023 still recorded a surplus as of August 2023. Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said the APBN 2023 experienced a surplus of IDR 147.2 trillion in August 2023. This figure contributed 0.70% to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Just so you know, the APBN surplus in August 2023 was actually higher compared to the same period last year. This is because the APBN surplus in August 2022 was only recorded at IDR 107.4 trillion.

Sri Mulyani conveyed, the APBN surplus in August 2023 came from state revenue that collected IDR 1,821.9 trillion. This realization grew by 3.2% year on year (YoY) and has reached 74.0% of the 2023 APBN target.
