Japanese car maker Toyota Astra Motor's president director, Hiroyuki Fukui, has said that his company plans to boost cooperation with the Indonesian government, citing the country's bright outlook in terms of economic growth. He said Indonesia was not only a production base for Toyota, but also an export base to its global market. With its sense of optimism, the firm has established a new plant in Karawang, West Java, to increase its annual production capacity from 130,000 vehicles to 250,000 vehicles.
