Waskita Karya (WSKT) Accelerates Work on Seven IKN Projects, Here's the Progress



KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA.  PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) guarantees the completion of seven projects in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in the first semester of 2024. 

The seven IKN projects include the Sepaku Ring Logistics Road Segment 4, IKN Toll Segment 5A, the Presidential Secretariat, and supporting buildings. As well as the 3rd Coordinating Ministry, the 4th Coordinating Ministry, IPAL 123, and the Integrated Utility Channel (MUT) - 01.

Waskita Karya's CEO, Muhammad Hanugroho, stated that this commitment aligns with the government's plan to start relocating Civil Servants (ASN) to the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in July.

"Waskita Karya, as one of the state-owned enterprises engaged in infrastructure, is committed to continuously supporting infrastructure development in Indonesia," said Hanugroho, in an official statement, on Tuesday (30/1). 

Through the IKN project development, he continued, Waskita Karya also supports the government in attracting more investment in IKN by completing facilities and infrastructure in IKN. 

In total, Waskita Karya is working on 12 projects in IKN worth a total of IDR 13.6 trillion, where Waskita Karya's portion is IDR 7.5 trillion. These projects include the Sepaku Ring Access Road Section 4 worth IDR 139 billion, IKN Toll Road Segment 5A worth IDR 1.12 trillion, the State Secretariat Building worth IDR 1.35 trillion, Kemenko 3 Building worth IDR 403 billion.

Then the Kemenko 4 Building worth IDR 735 billion, IPAL 1,2,3 KIPP IKN worth IDR 447 billion, IKN District Feeder Road worth IDR 644 billion, ASN 3 Flats worth IDR 1.13 trillion, IKN National Road Section 6C-1 worth IDR 539 billion, and MUT-01 worth IDR 158 billion, IKN Toll Road Segment 3B-2 worth IDR 533 billion and IKN VVIP Airport Access Road.

"Waskita Karya's commitment to accelerate this project development is also in line with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)'s hope to hold the Indonesian Independence Day ceremony on August 17, 2024, in the Nusantara Capital City," said Hanugroho.

Hanugroho stated that the infrastructure sector will still potentially grow in line with the high infrastructure needs in Indonesia and to support national development and economic growth.

In the future, Waskita Karya is committed to continuously supporting infrastructure development in Indonesia.

As of January 2024, Waskita Karya recorded progress in the projects being worked on in IKN compared to September 2023.

With details of the Sepaku Ring Access Road Section 95.23%, IKN Toll Road Segment 5A 76.20%, State Secretariat Building 55.04%, MUT-01 56.12%, Kemenko 3 Building 50.98%, Kemenko 4 Building 50.65%.

Then there is the IKN District Feeder Road 44.06%, ASN 3 Flats 26.83%, IPAL 1,2,3 KIPP IKN 14.65%, IKN National Road Section 6C-1 0.75%, IKN Toll Road Segment 3B-2 and IKN VVIP Airport Access Road that just signed a contract this January.
